About Lainey

Born July 3, 2020 in the heat of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Lainey has been our sunshine since the very beginning. She quickly became known for her deep dimples on each cheek and smile that always reached her eyes.

Her love for spaghetti is still celebrated every Wednesday night by her parents, family and friends.

A girly-girl princess that could name over a dozen dinosaurs. She's one-of-a-kind.

During her celebration of life, our pastor, Antony Williams, delivered the eulogy and mentioned that “Lainey smiled so big, she would giggle,” which stuck like glue in our small town of Elberton, GA.

To love like Lainey is to return to a childlike understanding of the love Jesus has for all of us. As humans, we sometimes forget that hate is taught, and love is instinctual. Lainey’s love had no limit because she never reached an age in which she learned to hate.

Lainey played with all her classmates at daycare, leaving no one out. She was excited for her friends’ birthdays, never blowing out another’s candles. She was brave in loving critters, big and small, cute and sometimes scary. Lainey loved to share laughs with others and share flowers she had handpicked and easily turned any bad day into something beautiful. Lainey gave big hugs.. so big that her family can still feel it around their hearts, encouraging us to continue spreading her love.

Lastly, our logo incorporates hearts Lainey had just learned to draw soon before her passing. Two of the hearts are drawn on her bedroom wall in bright blue highlighter and one was taken from a coloring sheet she had recently colored at ‘school.’ The lady bug represents the precious name we called Lainey. She’s always been our “LaineyBug” and has since visited family and friends as lady bugs. In pretty-princess fashion, she loved PINK and often paints the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
